About

Hi, I'm Soojin {{ wave }}

I'm a Senior Product Designer at T-Mobile, where I design agentic AI experiences—bringing together AI, UX, and visual craft to turn complex systems into products people actually understand.

I grew up in Korea and moved to the U.S. for my master's at the University of Washington. Since then I've worked across T-Mobile, Hyundai, Belk, IKEA, agencies, and AI startups—leading work from early research all the way to shipped product. I love the ambiguous problems, the ones without a clear brief, and shaping them into something simple and human.

My story

From research to pixels, and everything between.

My path hasn't been a straight line, and I've come to think that's the point. I started in UX research, endlessly curious about why people do what they do. Over time I fell for the craft of making—visual design, motion, the small details that make an interface feel alive.

Today I sit right in the middle: I dig into what people need, then shape it into something they can see, touch, and trust. Working across hardware, enterprise tooling, and consumer AI taught me one thing above all—the best products don't feel like technology. They feel like help.

After hours

Fostering, painting, and a 12-year-old named Jebbie.

Outside of work, I'm a serious animal lover. I've spent years volunteering and fostering dogs and cats, and in 2025 I finally adopted Jebbie, a 12-year-old sweetheart—though the neighborhood ducks and squirrels would tell you they get fed too. The rest of my time goes to painting (acrylic and watercolor), building Lego, drawing a little webtoon on Instagram, and traveling whenever I can. And I genuinely love mentoring and lecturing on AI design with Google Developers Groups and educational platforms—teaching keeps me curious.

Let's talk.

I'm at my best on teams that care about craft and about each other. If that sounds like yours, I'd love to hear from you.
